Studied music at the Scola Cantorum, and took private lessons with M. Pah
Marinov (Bulgarian bass). He also studied
with Peggy Bouveray (CNSM), Caroline Gauthier and Guy Flechter.

Frédéric Thérisod attended a masterclass with Renata Scotto (Rome).

He
studied acting at the Saint Etienne Conservatory (CDN) and participated in
several acting clinics with the
Théâtre du Campagnol and
the Théâtre du Soleil.
He also studied
Kabuki, Kyogen, Nô (Kanze) with Japanese masters
durings stays in Japan.

He
took classes in mime technique and met Marcel Marceau and Griot (African
story teller) Sottigni, Kouyaté.

In
2004, he studied singing and Karnatic music in India (Kochin). In 2007, he
traveled to Brazil and added Brazilian
rythmic techniques to his craft.

2009: "MacBeth" a the Bastille Opera House. He was the Vice-King in
Offenbach's "Périchole", directed by Anthony
Michineau, Cie L'Elixir Enchanté, Théâtre Marsoulan (Paris).

2007/2008: "Il Barbiere", directed by Coline Serreau; "Don Carlo",
directed by Graham Vick, at the Bastille Opera.
Frédéric Thérisod also worked with Christine Mananzar (Cie Histeriades)
and performed in "Requiem", by Jean Gillon
(Cie Baladins Lyriques).

sang "La Louve", a stage polyphonic vocal and clown work focused on "Sound
Painting", directed by Raphaele
Arditi.

2001: Created a KAI trio. He composes and performs for this combo and
recorded a 3-CD compilation: KAI (2001),
MONKEY SNAKE (2002), and OCEANIDE (2003).

1985-1996: FT participated in numerous stage productions in several
theater companies. In 1995, he performed
at
the Comédie Française under the direction of Jean-Pierre Vincent ("Léo
Burkhart", by Nerval).

Authored the "Valise d'Isidore" anthology (2000) and recorded a CD (RED
SONGS).

composed over 100 pieces which he would like to have published in 2
volumes ("Piano Enchevêtré").
